'Pushing Tin' performing at HRC Bengaluru on Thursday, December 01st!

If you are wondering what the name means, keep wondering. We simply like the name and we love our music; put those together and you get PushingTin. PushingTin came into existence on the 26th of January 2006. SOUND: Our music is a blend of funk, alternative, jazz, and blues. We term our genre as METRO ROCK - mix of Modern & Retro. In short PushingTin has its own sound that's originated from different influences, and provides neutral, lovable sound. IDEALS: PushingTin believes in technical but listener friendly music, we aim at delivering a new sound that must appeal to all music lovers. We like to push our music making skills to its logical limit, stressing on harmony since all of us can sing. PLANS: The same as any sane band - “to make good music”. We are working towards making a tight professional set of about 14 originals, in the coming 10 months. Song writing skills is what actually gives any band its substance and it shouldn’t be rushed.

THE BAND:

VIKSHUT MUNDKUR – Vocals Mr.Enviromentalist. Is completely mental about saving the world and keeping it clean. We share his feelings.... enough said!!!

MARK ESCOTTEE - Guitars Mark is arguably one of the best musicians in Bangalore. He has vast experience in playing the Guitars, Keyboard and Drums. His magic-like skills make him a treat to watch. His main influences are blues, country and gospel.

ASHLEY JOSEPH - Bass Part of the original line-up. He would jam every day, if given a chance. Has more teenagers and kids as fans (no he doesn’t do a MJ).He owns a music school and is responsible for tuning lil’ ones with their musical talent!!

ROMIT SHILPE - Drums There isn’t a thing that this boy hasn't done. His current role apart from being our drummer and donor (we use his house to jam) is being a techie from ITPL , snake enthusiast/charmer (don't be surprised if you see him near majestic railway station or some god forsaken railway tracks) , photographer , cyclist , adventure freak ,groupie ....he'll tell you more when you meet him... !
