Lifesaver is a Blues Rock band formed with some of the most promising musicians of the city. All of which are seasoned performers and have already performed with other bands in some of the city’s leading venues .In short if you put them together you have one of the most innovative acts in the city that blends energetic performances with soul. The band previously known as Rapture used to play actively in the Mumbai circuit three years ago. Having disbanded in May 2008 due to various reasons, the members rejoined in December 2010 with a new musical mission as Lifesaver. Lifesaver was formed with the belief that lives can be saved through music, hence the name Lifesaver. Though Blues is the genre that has the most influence over the musicians of the band, they glide effortlessly into other genres as well.Members
