Null Friction is an Indian rock band formed in 2005 in the city of Madras (Chennai). The band consists of Abhishek Singhal (bass), Ansh Sanyal (drums), and Shreyans Jha (vocals and guitars). Following the DIY route, the band released their self-produced album, “Madras," in 2009 which went on to sell almost all its copies in the first week of distribution and stayed at #1 on Reverbnation’s charts for two weeks. Known for their on-stage vivacity and their melodic yet head-bang-able tunes, Null Friction has played two-country wide tours and over a hundred independent shows till date in India, Canada, and the United States.
